Here at Independent Studios, we strive to create productive creative spaces for freelancers, start-ups and small businesses within creative industries. Located in Windsor and a stone’s throw from Windsor station and just 10 minutes from Melbourne CBD, our cowork spaces are the ideal office for freelancers and creative professionals requiring a modern office space for short periods of time.
As a beautiful open-plan coworking office, Independent Studios is flooded with natural light and innovative spaces designed to inspire and motivate. A large range of office spaces are available for rent from one day to pay by the month ongoing office arrangements.  Spaces can be used as a personal office space for one person to designated coworking spaces for start-ups and small businesses.

Fully Furnished, Semi Serviced Offices

We offer creative workspaces for individuals and businesses with the resources of a fully furnished office while having the flexibility to increase or decrease space when required. Amenities include two kitchens, desks, chairs, shelving, phone lines, projectors, meeting rooms, boardrooms and high-speed wifi throughout the entire office. Check out our full list of amenities.

Flexible Offices And Hot Desking

Freelancers can rent an office or hot desk for a day, while small teams and businesses can rent a wide range of affordable office spaces for flexible weekly or monthly rentals. My Local Broker is a startup based in Melbourne Australia. We needed an office location that could facilitate 3-4 staff within a week and 3 more staff the week after and ongoing as we grew to meet our vision before moving to our permanent home nearby. Independent Studios housed our business, Straight Out Digital as we expanded from one location to another.     • Provision of a flexi desk - setup your office cost-effectively but still possibly work from the home studio or a remote client site for 1-3 days per week.  Access M-F 9am - 5pm.
    • Includes fibre based internet, wifi usage - unlimited downloads.
    • Includes use of some prebooked meeting room time (2hours per mth) to enable client meetings.
    • Includes access to onsite tea, coffee facilities.
    • Includes invitations to community events and networking opportunities.

    • Access to kitchen facilities at hot desk rate less member discount.

    • Price above is for our basic startup team space.  Prices are generally bundled into groups of 2,4,6 with volume discounts applied. $400 pp pm is for a sample 4 person workspace.  Ask us if our basic team space for $1500 (4pax) is available, or our much loved sunroom space $2500 for 5 pax min. (all ex gst) or  private offices if your team requires this type of environment.
