Meeting rooms and board room hire, Melbourne

At Independent Studios Prahran we provide businesses and freelancers with a large range of meeting rooms for rent as part of our Prahran coworking space offering.

Located just a few minutes walk from Prahran station, 8 minutes from the city by train and a station ride away from Windsor and South Yarra, Indep Studios’ boardrooms are the perfect meeting space for client meetings in South Melbourne.

 Board Table Space

Adjacent to our beautiful open gallery space we have a large boardroom meeting area for board meetings and large client meetings. The board space is well suited for groups up to 10 people. The space is beautifully lit with natural light and comes completely furnished. Catering can easily be organised from local restaurants. It has one long table with approx 10-12 chairs, it is semi private with privacy screens but still a connection with the large warehouse feel of the space.

Meeting space rental costs

If you need a space to plan your next venture, launch or just inform the team we have the space for you – from casual, open light filled but still secure spaces to smaller, enclosed meeting rooms.

If you need seating for 10-12 people, monitors, power for laptops, printers, projectors, whiteboards and pinboards just let us know when booking.

Prices vary between different meeting spaces. For general public and intending members, costs range from an enclosed meeting room for 3-4 people max for 4 hours @80 or full day $150 ex gst, to lightfilled board meeting space with whiteboards, hdmi monitor, at $300 per half day for 3-4 pax or up to approx. $1,000 per half day if using the area for photography or groups and depending on exact usage, and hourly needs.

For full time members, meeting area or room rental or boardtable hire is generally included in monthly rates.  Currently there is no charge for part time memberships for usage once per month but this is subject to change and is confirmed on application once the requirement is understood.
